Description from the seller

The rise and fall of water lilies VII

Lightjetprint, 2024
Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta, 325g, Glossy
Edition 5
Sample No. 3/5
Sheet size, 40 x 40 cm
Motif size 38 x 38 cm

In the photographic series 'Frozen Leaves,' 'Under Water Leaves,' 'Waterlilies,' and 'Night Flowers,' the states of various plants are analyzed, telling of their coming into being and passing away.

My representations of industrial ruins and garden landscapes, in their abandonment or neglect, simultaneously reflect a connection between the past and the future.

Studies in Fine Arts at Cologne University of Applied Sciences
Master student of Prof. Karl Marx

2022 Gallery Schloss Neersen, 'Plant Backdrops'
2018/19 Museum Sinclair-Haus, Bad Homburg, 'View - Insight'

2016 Düsseldorf State Parliament, 'Lift up the door, make the gates wide...'
2009 Galerie Schreier & von Metternich, Düsseldorf 'Water Landscapes'
2009 Maxhaus, Düsseldorf 'Lichtung'
2008 Rhineland Regional Museum, Bonn 'Gardens and Spaces'
2008 Saarlandmuseum, Saarbrücken 'Fotosynthesen' (with Otto Steinert)
