Eduard Johannes Fredericus Houbolt (Delft, August 9, 1885 – The Hague, January 14, 1954) was a Dutch painter, graphic artist, art restorer, and publicist. He lived and worked in The Hague but was also temporarily active in Belgium and France. He was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague (1905-1908). His repertoire was very diverse; he painted, made drawings, and etched portraits, nudes, biblical scenes, as well as still lifes and landscapes. He was a member of both the Hague Sketch Club and the Dutch Art Circle.
