4 tomes, 6 volumes, of the First edition of Plantin in small format of the Bible.
The complete work, published between 1564 and 1565, consists of 7 volumes. Each has on the title page the typographic mark of Plantin depicting a hand emerging from a cloud, drawing a circle with a compass, with the motto of the Plantin press: Labore et Constantia.
The only missing volume is the
Pentateuch, Joshua, Judges, Ruth.
