This piece is a vibrant tribute to the iconic 1980s and the world of Bubble Bobble, the famous video game that marked a generation. The background, inspired by colorful platforms and the original arcade aesthetic, is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Pearl paper, a premium Fine Art paper with an elegant pearlescent surface and excellent color rendering. The protagonist of the work – Bub, the famous green little dragon – is crafted as a three-dimensional handcrafted mosaic, composed of 1×1 cm glass tiles laid individually by hand. Each piece adds depth, stage presence, and a unique visual impact. Small irregularities are a hallmark of the manual craftsmanship and do not represent defects.

The mosaic figure is mounted on a custom-designed 3D printed support that suspends it 1 cm from the background.
