A bit of history :
On the 18th, the 3rd, and the 7th, they line up at the starting line. The jockeys' bodies are no longer separate from their mounts. You can almost hear the sound of hooves and the breath of the horses. Made of flat blocks of color, Geoff McFetridge's drawings are strikingly simple. The play of graphic echoes creates the illusion of suspended movement, as if between two gallops, hinting that the winning prediction will be the founding date of the Maison.
