Isabelino 19th‑century brooch in 18k yellow gold with a silver front and settings, featuring 14 natural rose‑cut diamonds as main stones, totaling 16.3 g and 45 mm wide.
Description from the seller
Exceptional Victorian Brooch S. XIX - 18k Gold and Silver with Rose-Cut Diamonds (16.3g)
Magnificent high jewelry brooch from the second half of the 19th century (late Isabeline/Victorian era), a representative piece of European artistic goldsmithing from the late 1800s.
Technical Details and Materials
Metal: Solid body structure made of 18kt yellow gold.
Vistas de Plata: The fronts and settings of the stones are made of silver, using a period technique to enhance the white brilliance of the diamonds without the gold tone interfering with their transparency.
Gems: Important antique pavé of rose-cut diamonds. It features a larger central diamond in a fleur-de-lis design, surrounded by a border of smaller diamonds.
Design: Floral motif with finely hand-chiseled leaves and three lower articulated pendants of the 'pampilles' type that add movement and elegance to the piece.
Condition: Excellent technical conservation status. Due to the age and historical use of the piece, the original hallmark marks have faded or are illegible, which is common in artisanal jewelry from this period.
Dimensions and Weight
Total weight: 16.3 grams.
Size: approximately 5 cm x 4.2 cm wide (see photo with ruler for scale).
Terms and Conditions of Sale: The clasp is in an exceptional condition for its age, with patina and slight signs of wear expected, confirming its vintage nature.
A secure and certified shipment will be carried out.
