A bit of history :
Some words evoke such a sense of adventure that reading them gives you a thrill. Stool or spoon are not among those. The title of this square, however, combines the two ultimate powers of evocation: the sea and the Orient. Its magic transports us onto the swell of the Gulf of Tonkin, and suddenly we find ourselves sailing through a starry night, chasing our dream destinies.
According to the Arfon edition dictionary of art squares, it is considered quite rare and quite sought after (last photo).
