Description from the seller
Set of six colored crystal wine glasses with 30% lead, mouth-blown and handcrafted, made between 1970 and 1980 in West Germany. Features include ribbed cuts on the lower part, while the upper part has a diamond cut with palm leaves and polka dots across the six-faceted bowl, a truncated hexagonal faceted stem, and a circular foot. The glasses probably belong to the Dorotheenhütte glassworks: a glassblowing factory in the village of Wolfach. The history of glassblowers in the Black Forest includes about 100 artisanal glassblowers in the region. The 'Dorotheenhütte' workshop is now the only company still doing everything manually. Condition: one glass is chipped (see photo number 5). Dimensions: height 19.3 cm x diameter 7.9 cm.
