biography
Voloshin Georgy Sergievich was born on May 5, 1925, in the city of Ekaterinoslav, now Dnipropetrovsk. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art Pedagogical College (1948) and at the Kyiv Art Institute (1956). He became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1965). His paintings are housed in the Dnipropetrovsk Museum, the Kremenets Museum, the Mykolaiv Art Museum, the Chernigiv Art Museum, the Partisan Glory Museum, the Shushenska Art Gallery, and the Dzhambul Art Museum (Kazakhstan).
