Early XXth Century linen bed linen with M.J. initials - Textile - 3.2 m - 2.1 m

This bed linen is 2m10 which for the early 20th Century was already exceptional,
but the weaving looms had gradually been widened, thus the workers in the factory
could weave up to Im15 width with selvedges on both sides and to be joined meticulously
by the young school leaving girls in the factory, but also outworkers.
However this bed linen has already been woven in 2m10 width.
The initials M.J. are differently embroidered which creates a pleasant effect.
The letter M. has been heavily embroidered with high relief whereas the initial
J. has been outlined and then filled in with "pinhead embroidery "as I would call it.
The initials are sitting in a light embroidered frame.
