Icon - Christ Pantocrator - Wood, Silver, Glass - 32 x 40 cm

A contemporary Greek Byzantine icon representing Christ Pantocrator, mounted on wood and covered with an oklad in finely repoussed solid silver (950/1000), partially gilded with 24-carat gold.

This icon is hand-painted, in accordance with traditional Byzantine iconography.
It was created by a specialized Greek workshop with extensive experience in religious goldsmithing, producing faithful copies inspired by 14th-century Byzantine models and those of subsequent centuries.
