A big Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Floral' tea pot. Qing dynasty (大清), Yongzheng or early Qianlong period (1735-1796, 乾隆), early to mid 18th c. Not common model, difficult to find with so well preserved decoration!

Finely potted, body with slightly round walls, S-shaped moulded spout and oval ear; cover ribbed. Decorated to the exterior with a large flower spray and four smaller on each side, details highlighted with gilding, geometrical band with iron red and gilt ribbon under the top-rim. The spout and handle with blossom decor. Comes with an original ribbed cover, with flattened finial and analogical decoration.

Daylight pictures included.

Provenance: private collection, France, Paris.

Dimensions: height with cover - c. 14,4 cm; without cover - 12,6 cm; length (with spout and ear) - 22,3 cm; diameter - 13,6 cm. Weight – 602 g.

Conditions report: very good condition for the age, small chip on the lower part of the handle only. Painted decoration in excellent condition, minimal wear. Few tiny chips to the of the cover. Tested with strong white light. Check pictures for details.
