2 Early XXth Century bed linen pieces with C.C and M.B. initials - Textile (2) - 2.15 m - 0.76 m

When linen comes in to me ,we have to go through every piece,
like an hair pin, to establish their state of affaire .
Often, the initial excitement , turns sour after discovering that not
all appears as it originally looked after the examination.
So these two pieces were part of this and had to be abandoned
for most of their part.
However after putting the pieces on the work table
it was not as bad as we had first thought.
We have been able to rescue most of the top and should you have plain
linen sheeting you can invent and make two new bed linen by sewing the pieces
on to the " rescued" bed linen. Please sew them together with the "English blind seam".
Alternatively you can use the initials for other decorative purposes.
The second piece with M.B. initials measures 1m90 x 0m60.
Please note this piece has 2 small spots. See last photo.

Vintage linen have already known a first life and can therefore have slight traces of the past.
We select the items in the best possible way, with love and dedication.
Honest descriptions and images gives a real vision of the items.
The linen that we offer for sale is not new linen, unless specifically mentioned, it is second-hand and old linen.
As such it may have already been washed, used or even worn.
In spite of the great care we take during the preparation, small imperfections can and may escape us.
They do not in any way call into question the unique and rare character of these wonderful pieces.
I present you our French Antique linen unwashed, as taken out of the armoire, unless otherwise described . It is all clean, but plan to give it a wash before use.
