Robert Cohen - Edith Piaf & Marcel Cerdan

This is an interesting and, I would say, historic vintage photograph of medium-large size, 18.1x24.5cm, taken by the Greek-French photographer Robert Cohen. It features the famous couple Edith Piaf and Marcel Cerdan, captured on March 17, 1948, as they descend the stairs of the Air France plane that had brought them from New York to Paris. The photo is very well known; the image caused a scandal because it made their relationship official, to the extent that Marcel Cerdan's wife was compelled to ask for a divorce...
This is a genuine vintage photograph, also published in November 1963, for a report on the singer's death, which occurred about a month earlier.
