AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

In all the years I have handled and loved French Antique table linen
I have not come across this particular design Napoleon 111.
And if I am honest this design is the most magnificent I have ever seen.
The soft pink and red colours as so superb and with the gold leaves adjacent to the
large borders sets it off perfectly..
There are 4 wide vertical borders & 4 wide horizontal borders on the table linen and
2 of each show on the top. In between are 7 rows of vertical garlands with floral decoration.
The rectangular pieces in the wide borders are framed with what appear to look like
tailored pieces of wood. Both the table linen and napkins are hand hemmed.
The centre has two sets of large embroidered initials F.B.
There are 5 matching napkins measuring 70cm X 77cm
and again with the initials F.B.
The background white is scattered with small open flowers
As it is jacquard weave the table linen can also be decked reverse and you will note the colours
are slightly stronger due to the weave.
This is an excellent and rare set of table linen.
PLEASE NOTE;
There are two small brown marks in between the 2 sets of initials.
My couturière has sewn over one to make it less visual.
This was NOT a hole.
