Offered here is a vintage Glashütte Spezichron “Bison” automatic watch featuring a 26-jewel (26 Rubis) movement and a distinctive 1970s oval case design. A great choice for collectors of German/GDR-era watchmaking, or for anyone wanting a stylish vintage daily wearer with real character.
Dial & Hands
Silver-tone dial with an elegant sunburst finish
Applied rectangular hour markers in silver tone for crisp, high-contrast legibility
Slim, polished hour and minute hands with a classic rectangular profile
Central sweeping seconds hand
Dial signed “Glashütte Spezichron” below 12 o’clock
“Bison 26 Rubis” at 6 o’clock, highlighting the high jewel count for smooth operation and reduced wear
Case:
Stainless steel, polished finish
Distinctive oval-shaped case (typical 1970s styling)
