Description from the seller

Bible, That Is: The entire Holy Scripture, containing all the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments: by order of the High Mightinesses, the States General of the United Netherlands, and according to the decision of the National Synod held at Dordrecht in the years 1618 and 1619. From the original faithfully translated into our Dutch language; by order of the Honorable Great Lords Burgomasters of Amsterdam, as per instructions—Amsterdam, Hendrick Schelte, 1714. - Engraved title page, (20 pages, table of contents), 292 leaves (=584 pages), 112 leaves (=224 pages) for the New Testament, 134 leaves (=268 pages), and the books called Apocrypha (2) 94 leaves (=188 pages) — half-leather binding.

Reasonable. Gouge and impact marks. Flattened paper loss. Inner hinge slightly open - book block fixed in the binding. Engraved title page detached and frayed at the edges, side margin once amateurishly restored. Cover page creased, holes in the inner margin, coming loose. Interior discolored/browned, with some spots here and there, moisture stains on the title page and the pages before and after it. Loss of a corner of four pages. Some foxing. Cover pages at the back creased, dust jacket and cover page stained.

The first (or the first two) pages of the table of contents of the OT are probably missing — the first content page begins with the 1st Book of Kings.
