Description from the seller
OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Mark II – Ref. 145.014 – Caliber 861 – Circa 1970.
Speedmaster Mark II, a direct evolution of the Moonwatch and a symbol of Omega's design in the 1970s.
Introduced in 1969, it features the legendary calibre 861 derived from the Lemania 1873, the same movement as the post-1968 Moonwatch, housed in a brushed stainless steel monobloc tonneau case, typical of the modern aesthetic of the era.
This piece features an original black dial, perfectly preserved, with indices and hands in patinated tritium evenly.
The tachymetric scale is integrated under a new Omega glass (original glass preserved). Case 45x40 mm, screwed back engraved with a hippocampus, original steel Omega bracelet with signed clasp.
Revised at ABP, Paris in September 2025: complete chronograph service, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of the tachymeter glass, and very light polishing respecting the brushed finish. The watch is precise, functional, and ready to wear.
Included with:
Omega vintage case
Original preserved dial
ABP 2025 revision invoice
A Mark II in remarkable condition, combining authenticity, reliability, and Seventies charm. A different, bold Speedmaster, increasingly sought after.
