Rome, description and souvenirs: a work containing 352 wood engravings, drawn by our most famous artists, and a map of Rome - Paris, Hachette bookseller, 1873 - (XII) 732 pages - beautifully gold-tooled, blind-stamped green/blue leather binding with gold on the edges.
Good. The spine is discolored, with scuff marks, and the corners are exposed. The top of the left knee is torn up to the second rib, and the top of the right knee is approximately 1cm. The first flyleaf and pages 267 through 270 are coming loose at the top, with the top edge of these pages slightly frayed. The interior is discolored/foxed, with moisture spots in the bottom margin from a large number of pages starting around page 350 up to 690. There is a tear in the margin of 2 pages, approximately 1cm.
Contains 352 wood engravings and 1 fold-out map of Rome, tear at the top of the inner margin into the image, approximately 7cm.
