Printed in Basel in 1575 by Heinrich Petri.

Rare and complete works of Virgil, including the Bucolics, Georgics, Aeneid (including the thirteenth apocryphal book), as well as the Appendix Vergiliana, which includes the Ciris, Aetna, Culex, Priapea, Catalepton, Epigrammata, Copa, and Dirae.

Latin text. Virgil's text is arranged in the center, surrounded by detailed commentaries from several critics, with Virgil's words in italics. An original or slightly later full calf binding.

Solid binding, restored.
Small in-folio: 33x22cm. 2,174 columns (1,037 pages), [42] pages of index and colophon. Ornate initials.

It was torn into 5 sheets (columns 2084 to 2105 in the Priapea).

Interior in very good condition with some minor tears.
Missing the first blank cover page.
