Born in Aquila degli Abruzzi in 1883. After resigning from the technical institute, he pursued artistic studies and graduated from the Accademia di Brera in Milan, where he also attended courses in nude and decoration. He dedicated himself to theatrical and cinematic scenography and directed large-scale historical or fantastical reconstructions such as Dante's Inferno and La Sacra Bibbia, which were among the most impressive films released in the immediate post-war period (1920). He exhibited, with the approval of both the public and critics, at the Venice Biennale and the Permanent Exhibitions of Milan, as well as at watercolorists' shows, etc.
Good preservation conditions because it is protected by glass.
