Description from the seller
Omega Wristwatch – Circa 1925. Vintage Ceramic Dial.
A refined and historically evocative timepiece from Omega, dating to approximately 1925 (serial number 7 million). This elegant wristwatch reflects the transitional period of early 20th-century horology, where craftsmanship met evolving wristwear design.
The dial is crafted in white ceramic, featuring bold black Arabic numerals and a small seconds subdial above 6 o’clock. Visible signs of age include a hairline mark near 10 o’clock and a subtle surface imperfection between 4 and 5 — authentic traces of its nearly century-old journey. The gold-colored ornate hands add warmth and contrast, enhancing the vintage character of the watch.
Encased in argentan (nickel silver), the case retains its original proportions and patina, with fixed lugs and a classic crown at 3 o’clock. The black leather strap complements the timeless aesthetic, making it suitable for both display and wear.
Powered by a manual wind Omega 23.7 movement, the watch is fully functional and keeps time reliably — a rare trait among vintage pieces of this era.
This 1925 Omega wristwatch is not only a collectible item but also a testament to the brand’s enduring legacy of precision and elegance. A true piece of horological history for discerning collectors.
Dimensions:
- Case diameter: approx. 27 mm
- Lug-to-lug: approx. 30 mm
- Strap width: 13 mm
The photos speak for themselves — a rare and beautifully preserved timepiece with soul and story.
