Sergio Zampieri presents an original mixed-media oil and acrylic painting Fili d'argento (80 cm high by 60 cm wide, 2025) in an abstract maritime landscape, signed by hand, in excellent condition, produced in Italy and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Original unpublished artwork created by contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968).
The painting was created in two stages using mixed media techniques, oil and acrylic.
In the first phase, for the base subject, only oil paints were used to allow a perfect blending of the forms, starting from a dark background of Prussian blue and white, and continuing with the addition of lighter shades such as sky blue, primary blue, ultramarine, and gray.
Once the oils had dried, the final decoration was applied using acrylic pastes of iridescent colors: yellow gold, zecchino gold, copper, silver, and pearl white.
The final effect, as seen in the photographs, is the result of a highly material work in iridescence, with a play of light and shadow that shapes itself depending on the position of the light source.
The work is archived and permanently visible on the artist's official website
