Biography
Lyssandre Saint York, French artist and designer for 15 years! Born in 1970 and immersed in art and creativity from childhood through his family! I pursued studies at the Beaux Arts, then in interior decoration, and developed in the world of creating various projects. During a trip to the USA, an idea arose, captivated by these illuminated cities that resemble another dimension both day and night! So, project ideas emerged, thinking, why not bring a bit of magic into people's daily interior life through decoration? Then, an innovative and stylish concept was born. For the past fifteen years, this luminous concept in 5 Dimensions has been designing villas, hotels, restaurants, etc., with an international clientele ranging from Europe to the USA, also working with architects and decorators on design projects. Art is an obvious continuation, driven by the desire and need to explore new artistic horizons! A fan of pop art and street art culture, I created new works based on Lego Minifigures, imagined, assembled, and hand-customized, with pieces featuring Star Wars themes or displayed in showcases blending luxury brands like Hermes, Vuitton, Dior, etc., as well as video game culture with Mario Bros or the famous Disney character Scrooge McDuck and friends! I also create unique limited edition pieces in showcases, depicting the universe of Banksy, musical themes, or a mix of the famous Be@rbrick. A blend of cultures from multiple horizons that delights an international clientele, to whom I especially extend a big thank you—my clients who have already acquired one of my works, and everyone who appreciates my art.
