Pierre Courtois - Affiche Basilique de Jeanne d’arc 1914 - 1920s

Rare and beautiful French historical poster dedicated to Joan of Arc and the National Basilica of Paris, published in the early 1930s as part of a major national subscription campaign.

It is a strong piece, typical of French patriotic and religious imagery from the interwar period.

Very nice overall presentation; soft paper with normal folding marks related to old storage (visible but clean). No major damage visible in the image. Ready to be framed for a high-end collection or decoration.
Fragile, however, a few creases have given way on their edges, but nothing serious if framed.
