Celtic bronze amulet in excellent condition dating to 300–200 BC, featuring the Smoldering coal symbol and an eternal ring with a hearth motif, supplied with a leather cord and carabiner, dimensions 25 by 18 mm and weight 3.22 g, acquired at auction in Europe in 2015 from a Barcelona seller as part of a private collection.

Beautiful ancient Celtic amulet.Excellent condition.
This amulet consists of three parts. In the upper part is the symbol of the Smoldering coal. On the day of Samhain, the Celts finished harvesting. On this occasion, a fire was lit on the highest hill. Part of the harvest was sacrificed as a sign of gratitude to the gods. The coal from this fire was the most powerful protective amulet. The Celts used the coal from the Samhain fire in the hearth of their home. Thus, it protected the whole family. The ring is a symbol of eternity in the middle. The symbolic image of the hearth is below. The amulet symbolizes the eternal protection of the owner and his family.
