Distinctively styled still life by Gaston Noelanders. Fine work with soft colors. Oil on canvas, framed in a high-quality frame (Schleiper Brussels). The canvas measures 30 x 40 cm. With the frame, it is 41 x 51 cm.
Gaston Noelanders was born on April 25, 1904, in Brussels, and passed away in 1987.
He studied at the Academy in Antwerp and later worked in various studios, including that of A. Bastien.
Many works are located abroad.
Works by Gaston Noelanders have been acquired by museums in Namen and Brussels.
He is listed in BAS II, Piron, and Two Centuries of Signatures by Belgian Artists.
In 1989, a book was also published by Gaston Noelanders: From Music to Painting, Knokke-Heist, Gallery Horizon. Noelanders was not only a painter but also a gifted musician.
