Veronese Giant Chess 'Crusaders Vs Saracens'

This chess piece is one of the most emblematic works by Veronese. It is a detailed historical representation of the medieval conflict over the Holy Land.
On one side, we have the Christian side 'Crusaders,' led by figures representing the European Kings, with the aesthetic of Richard the Lionheart. The pawns are soldiers wearing white tunics and the characteristic red cross of the Templars.
On the other side, we have the Saracen 'Muslim' faction, led by a figure reminiscent of Saladin. Their units wear oriental armor, turbans, and scimitars.

They are made of high-density polystone resin and hand-painted, appreciating the true colors of the shields, tunics, and banners.

The size of the set is enormous. The Kings measure 11 cm in height and the pawns 9 cm, with a base of 4 cm for all pieces. The board-container is made of wood. Inside, there are niches to store the pieces. It measures 52 cm in width and length, with a height of 8 cm and a diagonal of 72 cm!!!!!!!!

The sensation of holding the pieces in the hand is fantastic.

The board shows slight signs of use that are practically imperceptible. The pieces are in perfect condition.
