Description from the seller

Large handcrafted nativity scene, one-of-a-kind piece, entirely handmade, combining the rock architecture of the Sassi di Matera with the historic Neapolitan nativity tradition of San Gregorio Armeno.
The composition is developed vertically and animated by numerous shepherds, workshops, and glimpses of daily life. The functioning interior lighting enhances the depth of the caves and buildings, creating a warm and evocative atmosphere.
The central Nativity, placed in a cave carved into the rock, represents the spiritual core of the work.
A nativity scene with a great scenic impact, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of Italian nativity art.

Entirely handmade with traditional materials. The scene depicts an ancient village inspired by Matera, reinterpreted according to the Neapolitan school. Every element is detailed: architecture, characters, paving, and lighting.
Non-industrial opera, unique and irreplaceable.

Varieties of Pupi, made from terracotta and resin, contemporaneous with the passage of time.
The Magi, including those in the photos in the description even if not present in the nativity scene, will be sent.
Some defects caused by time are evident.
Safe and accurate shipping, any customs duties payable by the buyer.
