Description from the seller
Evening in Paris. A lovely scene from the past with a very atmospheric touch. The colors are so well dosed that you can immediately feel the atmosphere of this beautiful period in Paris. Nice detailed work by this artist. Well executed, created with ease and refinement at the same time, with all the artist's love for Paris. Beautiful frame, everything in perfect condition.
Walter Sita started painting at a very young age. He has a passion for 19th-century artists such as Luigi Loir, Galien Laloue, and others. His favorite themes are views of Paris; he recreates, for example, the quays, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs-Élysées. His bright colors and point perspective are characteristic of his style. He mainly painted lively Parisian boulevards, and in his many works, one can see the evolution of the times, including the transition from horse-drawn carriages to modern cars. Sometimes, both are depicted in a single work, like in this one.
Walter Sita has participated in exhibitions at the casino of Cabourg, the Chapelle des Cordeliers Sarrebourg, the Royal Casino La Napoule, the Château de Sarzay...
He has also exhibited abroad, at La Chapelle de Braschatt in Antwerp, Belgium, Budapest, Hungary, Shannon Gallery in London, Great Britain...
It will be sent with insurance.
