Description from the seller

Bnai Brith Manual - a communal constitution of the Bnai Brith organisation spearheaded in Cincinnatti, Ohio.
Printed in 1926, this rare publication gives a peep into pre-WW2 efforts at organising the Jewish People into a nation with influence.

Nationally and internationally, 1926 was a year of significant activity for B'nai B'rith. The organization focused on:
Fundraising: B'nai B'rith announced a $2 million fundraising drive in June 1926 to support its various programs.
Humanitarian Aid: The organization continued to provide aid to Jewish refugees through its European lodges and subsidized the schooling and necessities for 600 Jewish children in Europe who were living in poverty after World War I.
Publications: The organization published a "B'nai B'rith manual" in Cincinnati in 1926.
Youth Programs: Two years prior, B'nai B'rith had established the youth group AZA (Aleph Zadek Aleph) and adopted the Hillel organization for college students in 1925, laying the groundwork for future B'nai B'rith Youth Organization (BBYO) development.
