Exceptional complete collection of the 6 years of publication (1898 to 1903) of this brilliant bibliophilic publication, published by the art publisher Édouard Pelletan.

This collection is notably illustrated with 28 compositions by Henry Bellery-Fontaine, for whom it was his first book experience, engraved by Froment (1898), 38 figures drawn and engraved by Florian (1899), 31 illustrations by Steinlen engraved by Froment père et fils (1900), 30 compositions by Eugène Grasset engraved by Émile Froment (1901), 30 original woodcuts by Paul Colin (1902), and 47 figures by Louis Dunki engraved by Léon Perrichon (1903).

We are attaching a handwritten letter dated January 9, 1909, signed by the publisher Edouard Pelletan, concerning the publication of the 4th, 5th, and 6th years: 'The fourth year of the Bibliophile almanac will be published in a month and a half. This volume is very important in text, and Grasset's color illustrations are enviable and of a new quality. The fifth year will arrive three months later...'

Marbled paper bradel binding, covers and spine preserved but interchanged (as well as the dates on the spines, which do not match the content dates), some foxing on the edges and on a few pages, a fine copy. Complete with the 6 years of publication. All volumes are numbered and signed with the initials of the publisher.
