Small Rococo-style silver bottle holder from Berlin, made by Gebrüder Friedländer circa 1910, in 800 silver, 10.4 cm high, 9.8 cm opening diameter, 7 cm base diameter, 274.5 g, with lion head handles and an openwork gallery edge with garlands and medallions; in good condition with minor signs of age.

Description: Very beautifully decorated silver narrow-sized bottle holder/ basket. The holder is adorned in Rococo style with an openwork gallery edge and garlands with medallions. This style of decoration was widely used in the mid-18th century and became popular again in the first half of the 20th century. On each side, a lion's head with an oval wreath was placed as a handle. Suitable for a narrower bottle or for other uses.
