Original edition of Julien Green's journal covering the years 1958 to 1967, bound in a superb binding signed A&R. Maylander.

Executed in half-cherry morocco with corners, gilded fillets along the edges and corners, back with gold-embossed nerves adorned with gilded fillets forming a box and mosaic fillets in black leather, title and date in gilded letters, gilded head, covers and spine preserved.
In excellent condition, a very beautiful specimen unaltered.

A luxury print, one of 330 copies on Navarre alfa mousse paper, this one numbered 51.

Provenance: ex-libris in red leather of Charles Hayoit (1901-1984), Belgian bibliophile.
