Scuola napoletana (XIX) - Paesaggio

Excellent quality oil painting on canvas measuring 60 x 78 cm by an unknown artist of the Neapolitan school. Due to the high quality of the painting and its theme, it is hypothesized to have been created in the 19th century by a follower of Ercole Gigante. The painting is still on its original canvas and is in excellent condition, with a slight craquelure that, due to the passage of time, does not impair the viewing of the work. The frame is obviously not original and measures 81 x 99 cm. The work is certified by a forensic expert specialized in Italian painting of the second half of the 19th century.
