Brief Art Resume

In 1983, he studied Art at the Modern Art Institute of Málaga (Spain), where he completed his degree three years later with a score of nine out of ten.
In 1999, he continued his training at the Arte Hemiprisma workshop of the renowned Malagan painter Javier Navarta in Vélez Málaga.

ANA RUIZ is a Spanish visual artist born in 1967 in Nerja / Costa del Sol (Andalusia - Spain).
This painter, in her artistic journey, has left a profound mark of curiosity in the eyes of those who are more observant, thus placing several of her works in countries such as Greece, Portugal, Italy, England, Ireland, and Spain. Using a wide range of mixed techniques, making perfect transitions between acrylic and oil, achieving different and impressive textures on canvases or panels.

After years of searching for her own style, she developed a distinctive and unique way of creating, characterized by the application of an alternative color palette depending on the work's requirement, sometimes bold and vigorous, and other times soft and delicate. The themes of her paintings are diverse, simple, and noticeable; all are united by her painting technique, which sometimes gives shape to overlapping textures that draw the viewer deep into her thoughts.
