Pair of marble and gilded bronze candlesticks in Louis XVI style.

The shaft and the base are made of blue Turquin marble topped with chased bronzes.
The base is made up of three bronze balls serving as feet for the candlesticks. Surmounted by a white marble disc, there are two intertwined bronze wires and acanthus leaves.
The binet is made of guilloché and gilded bronze.

Work in France at the beginning of the 19th century.
