Kees Verwey, an original mixed‑technique impressionist still life titled Bloemstilleven, created in 1966 in the Netherlands, hand signed, in excellent condition, with image size 71 × 49 cm and frame size 99 × 73 × 3 cm.

Kees Verwey was born in Amsterdam on April 20, 1900, and died in Haarlem on July 23, 1995.
Education at the School for Art and Applied Arts in Haarlem 1918-1919 and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam 1925-1926.
Student of Henri Frédéric Boot, J.H. Jurres, and Samuel Jessurun de Mesquita.
Teacher of, among others, J. Chapon, Henk Fonville, Frans Funke, J. van Geem, Cor Hak, Wim Steyn, F. Verpoorten, and Henk v.d. Vet.
Worked until 1921 in Santpoort-N, Amsterdam 1922-1923, Santpoort-N 1924-1926, Spaarndam 1928-1930, and Haarlem 1930-1995.
Painter, watercolorist, draftsman, graphic artist, and illustrator.
Flower still life, portrait, cityscape, beach, interior, and landscape.
He received the Rembrandt Prize in 1961.
