Description from the seller

Welcome to the 'DIA DE LOS MUERTOS' collection inspired by the GIORNO DEI MORTI, which takes place in November in Mexico and has pre-Columbian origins. The collection consists of 12 subjects inspired by the sacredness of the ceremony, where the deceased are commemorated with a joyful celebration full of vibrant colors, flowers, dances, and music. During these days of celebration, families honor the departed by cleaning their graves, playing music, and sharing stories.

My name is Camilla, a multifaceted and eclectic artist who draws creative ideas and inspiration from the travels my family has always allowed me to undertake. America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe have been my destinations, and I always returned from each trip with some ideas, insights, or graphic elements.

I describe myself as a 'sponge' for my ability to absorb the best of a landscape, a city, or a mood every time.

I come from a family of typographers, so inks and Pantones have always been in my DNA.

Currently, I reside in Cádiz, and the culture and lifestyle of Andalusia inspire me so much that I am now incorporating them as creative influences in some of my works.

My creations range from pop and street art to nature paintings or simply blending a variety of styles that I make my own, thanks to the use of traditional graphic programs like Photoshop as well as more advanced AI programs and a variety of artistic techniques (Lightroom, Stable Diffusion, Unreal Engine, and Midjourney).

After a series of color reproduction tests on Canvas, my choice fell on 100% cotton Canvas from 350 grams with a Glossy finish, to achieve images that are decidedly bright and luminous, very similar to what the buyer sees in their video.

Each piece of artwork is shipped in a rigid packaging to safeguard and protect your new purchase with an international courier and tracking.
