Description from the seller

French artist, multi-award-winning in photography contests (International Photography Award, Nikon Photo Contest, Sony World Photography, WPE)
What do we observe when we extract a subject from its environment?
Contrary to the psychosocial reading learned during my studies, SECTIO refers to the voluntary act of separating the subject from its context. This term describes an approach to visual framing based on extraction and constrained framing as tools of construction.

This gesture shifts the reading of the structure towards an abstract register. Lines, surfaces, shadows, and repetitions emerge as elements of an autonomous visual grammar.
Devoid of any indication of use or situation, forms cease to refer to what they serve and become only their structure.

Printed in sublimation on Chromalux aluminum at the Graffiti System workshop in Paris, this piece is number 1/10 of a limited edition, sold directly by the artist. Sublimation offers a high-end finish: exceptional shine, depth of contrasts, fidelity of details, and lasting durability. Hand-signed, SECTIO #001 is a unique print designed for discerning collectors, combining conceptual rigor with aesthetic appeal.
