AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful and elegant cabinet from the late Louis XVI period, also known as the transition period.
Transition to the Empire. Around 1785 - 1800.
Gradually, the style becomes a bit tighter — only the bottom part, specifically the drawer, is bent.
Beautifully cut garlands on the doors.
On the roof, there is a perforated fence that continues with the protruding corners, creating small balconies.

The drawers have an interior made of quartz sawn oak panels.
Very skillful furniture craftsmanship of high quality.
It is called bloemmahonie after the shape of the nerve in the wood.

Very extensive and practical interior with spacious shelves and many drawers.
The height of the cabinet including the ornament is a maximum of 242 cm.
Without the fence, it is 220 cm.

Original lock with a working key.
