Emeterio Ovejero Marcos (1948-2007) was a Spanish painter born in Madrid on December 30, 1948, recognized for his figurative and expressive work in oil on canvas.

He studied drawing and painting at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1971.

He later refined his technique with teachers Sánchez Arjona and Maestro Barrando.

In 1974, he moved to Seville, joining the artistic group 'San Juan de Azna'.

His work focuses on figurative painting, with a marked expressive character. Many of his pieces explore loneliness, fears, and the human condition.
