Orazio Barbagallo was born in Monza on February 17, 1961, into a family where the craft of stonemasonry was passed down from father to son. From a young age, he developed a natural creativity that quickly led him to engage not only in sculpture but also in painting and graphics. He has collaborated on the creation of theatrical, cinematic, and advertising set designs. Currently, some of his works are part of public and private collections, including: Santa Margherita Church in Cascina del Bruno Arcore (MI), the Sculpture Museum of Spinetoli (AP), the Villasanta Municipality Collection (MB), the Open-Air Museum Molo Sud in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP), the Contemporary Art Museum Mele – Santa Maria di Leuca (LE), the Sartori Archive Collection in Mantova, the Italian Contemporary Art Museum Durazzo (Albania), the Girifalco Municipality (CZ), the Stefanaconi Municipality (VV), the Civic Collection of the Municipality of Bareggio (MI), the Pinacoteca of the Brera Art High School in Milan, the International Museum of Contemporary Art Mariano in Alessano (LE), the Province Palace of Ragusa, the Civic Collection of the Municipality of Cavenago Brianza (MB), the La Permanente Museum in Milan, the Piazza Armerina Municipality (EN), the Permanent Art Collection of Contemporary Artists at Palazzo Gasparini in Mercatello sul Metauro (PU), the Epicentro Museum in Barcelona (ME), the MUSMA Museum of Contemporary Sculpture in Matera, the Sartori House Museum in Mantova, the Cycling Museum Madonna del Ghisallo (CO), and the Copelouzos Family Art Museum in Athens.
