Elegant silver-plated flatware set by Christofle, model Marly, for 6 persons, 60 pieces

This pattern, created in 1897, is one of Christofle’s most prestigious and ornate designs — richly decorated with rococo scrolls and acanthus leaves, symbolizing the opulence of the French Belle Époque.

Each piece bears the Christofle hallmark with the OC and balance scales and the Marly mark on the reverse.
A timeless and refined addition to any classic or contemporary table.

The Marly collection takes its name from the Château de Marly built by Louis XIV in the west of Paris, which was to be totally destroyed during the Revolution. It is in this "country castle", where etiquette was less rigid.
