In-folio, publisher's binding in full polychrome pasteboard. Spine with five false nerves, richly decorated. Gilt title. Front boards illustrated with a large polychrome design. All edges gilt.

Some scratches and signs of use. Headcaps rubbed. Corners worn. Top joint slightly split. Small tears on the Rome map. Interior with scattered foxing.

Pleasant copy, very well preserved.
