Description from the seller
Metaphysical Dream
Inkjet print on Hahnemüle Fine Art Print paper 40x53cm. The photograph has a 5 cm white border where the dry stamp is placed. It is a limited edition of only 5 signed copies on the back.
With this work, I explore the subtle boundary between reality and imagination, between urban architecture and interior landscapes. My images arise from observing suspended spaces where time seems to stand still and every architectural element takes on a symbolic meaning. The piece 'Metaphysical Dream' is an example: a solitary building, topped with the inscription 'SOGNI', silently dialogues with a lone tower under a clear sky.
Through essential lines, clear colors, and sparse atmospheres, I try to evoke a dreamlike and contemplative dimension. The absence of human figures emphasizes the sense of anticipation and mystery, inviting the viewer to project their thoughts and memories into the depicted space.
My research is inspired by Italian metaphysical painting but also embraces contemporary influences: each scene thus becomes an invitation to question the meaning of the places we inhabit and the emotions they evoke.
With these works, I aim to offer a space for reflection, where architecture transforms into visual poetry and the everyday reveals itself as extraordinary.
