Paolo Contin, Remote Past, a 2009 acrylic painting on canvas, original edition, hand-signed, sold with frame, 92 × 102 cm, Italy.
Description from the seller
Paolo Contin
Passato Remoto
Acrylic on Canvas - Hand-signed - 2009
Original painting sold directly by the artist.
The fabric is mounted on a solid wood frame and then framed with a painted black wooden profile.
The title and authenticity signature are on the back of the canvas.
The painting is ready to be hung on a wall without additional costs, saving at least 300 euros on framing and frame.
Naturally, the shipping costs are slightly higher compared to a tube shipment, but the savings are significant because you get a complete picture.
Shipments to countries outside the European Union are not accepted due to too many bureaucratic problems and very high costs.
The artist, far from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following solely his own ideals and personal goals.
In his works, there is a desire to explore towards infinity up to the thresholds of the supersensible.
In this textured painting, on a canvas prepared by the artist with a gypsum-based foundation, one immerses oneself in a past from which the artist's geometric lines emerge again, always seeking new elements, new situations, and new images that can satisfy him, using different techniques, drawings, and geometric lines.
Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
