Original edition by German artist Anna Bila, Soft Architecture, 2024, mixed media on canvas (acrylic and ink), 155 × 155 cm, 2 kg, hand-signed and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
This large-scale abstract painting is conceived as a самостоятельный artistic statement and fully раскрывается in spacious loft-style interiors. Vertical rhythms and fluid, organic forms create a sense of movement and inner breathing of the space, while the complex palette — ranging from powdery and lavender tones to deep blue, burgundy, and warm ochre — adds depth and emotional richness.
The work delicately balances minimalism and expression: it does not overwhelm the interior, yet immediately draws the eye and shapes the atmosphere. The painting harmonizes beautifully with natural materials such as brick, wood, concrete, and textiles, becoming a visual focal point in a living room, studio, or public space.
Medium: acrilyc and ink on canvas
Shipping: rolled without stretcher, requires professional mounting.
Anna Bila is an Ukrainian artist whose work explores themes of childhood, adolescence, memory, and the perception of the past — not as something static, but as something continuously reinterpreted through the lens of the present. Nature in her paintings serves not only as a visual motif, but also as a source of emotion, states of mind, and reflection.
Her portraits are not aimed at achieving physical resemblance, but rather at conveying an emotional connection with the depicted figure — whether it’s a close acquaintance or a fleeting stranger.
Her artistic style ranges from controlled, precise technique to experimental painting, where the spontaneous flow of pigment plays a key role. The works become a space for dialogue — both with herself and with the viewer.
The artist has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine, Italy, and Germany
