Description from the seller

The Ewe live in a coastal area that stretches from Ghana through Togo and Benin to the borders of Nigeria.
They practice a twin cult that is very similar to that of the Yoruba. In this context, statuettes are created, whose styles vary greatly and are sometimes influenced by neighboring cultures, such as the Akan in Ghana and the Yoruba in Nigeria.
The figurine offered here was used in the context of the Voodoo religion.
