A face emerges from the darkness, crossed by a dense pattern of golden vertical lines that seem to filter gaze and thought.
The work plays on the border between the visible and the invisible, between what is shown and what remains protected, retained, perhaps censored.

Soft and blended brushstrokes create a suspended, almost dreamlike human presence, while vertical lines introduce a visual tension: they can be read as barriers, wounds, or traces of light crossing the identity. Gold, a precious and symbolic element, contrasts with the dark, deep tones of the face, amplifying the sense of introspection and fragility.

It is a work that invites the viewer to pause, to seek the gaze behind the lines, to question what separates being from appearance. A non-realistic but emotional portrait, in which the figure becomes a metaphor for the contemporary inner condition.

Biography
Giovanni Triggiani was born in Busto Arsizio (VA) in 1964.
At 14 years old, she wins her first drawing award for school and creates posters for private parties.
After artistic training in 1986, he dedicated himself to multiple experiments.
Creates advertising signs, produces Trompe L’Oeil in Milan, and makes portraits for various clients.
He has exhibited in various Italian galleries and has won awards and recognitions.
